Hot chocolate. Laughing at an inside joke. Laughing at yourself. Taking the scenic route. Swinging on swings. Watching the sunrise. A special glance.
ah...just thought of more: A good conversation. Laughing for no reason. Laughing so hard you start to hurt.
The best things in life are the simple ones. As you get older, you realize that luxury and extravagance can't buy happiness.
i never said anything about luxury and extravagance; i just think that curling up with someone you love, for example, beats the shit out of warm chocolate milk. and as for your previous post, i hope he was joking too because i laughed really hard for about 15 seconds before i realized that there may actually be truth in what he said, and then i still giggled for a few more seconds
Ha...you're right. Curling up with someone you love does beat hot chocolate...I just got in this really weird sentimental mood. Thank goodness it hardly ever happens.
to this day, i still swing on the big swing set my dad built for me. just put on my headphones and forget the world. it's better than pot. and cheaper also: petting dogs watching really funny cartoons with your sis/boyfriend snuggling finding a really touching video on youtube, like the free hugs vid or where the hell is matt? showers sleeping under 3 quilts sleeping in waking early to watch the sun rise morning drives crickets at night watching movies with mom in her big bed summer wow, kinda went all out on this one. i have more, but i'll digress
Comfortable silence Sleeping naked Warm hands on a cold night Hugs Clothes fresh outa the dryer in the winter Familiarity.
Hot long bubble baths, warm hugs, kisses in the winter snow, finding something really cool at the thrift store, standing barefoot in shallow creek and feeling the current go through your toes, my sons smile.
acoustic guitars by campfires a spliff in a meadow with somebody you love oh, fuck it! there are too many good things to list them all.
