alright, i'm sure everyone who's dosed has their own name for this, but it's that feeling you get in your head when you're starting to come up. the brain tickles. how you KNOW you're in for the ride, time to buckle up. so i've got two questions for you. I. what do you call that lovely, lovely feeling? II. what makes you feel that lovely, lovely feeling when you're not actually tripping? something you do, see, or hear when you trip, then do, see, or hear sober and feel all warm and trippy in your brain.
oh. and my answers: I. the brain tickles, puttin' on your lucy hat. (silly, yes, but what else can you call it when you get it while walking through a wal mart?) II. listening to gorillaz alwayssss does it to me. they're my favorite to listen to while tripping, and such a badass mood setting. there's also this little floating dock thing at a park not too far from here, and when i go sit there i get them too.
i always thought brain tickles was when you had the giggles for no reason. and you just laugh and laugh uncontrollably and can't seem to stop but you can't figure out why you're laughing....
like i said, i'm sure everyone has their own names for it. my ex-best friend and i just always called it the brain tickles because of that kind of tingly feeling in your head for a few minutes to a little while before you get visuals.. sometimes i've had it stick around for a while even after visuals start, but either way. it's just what we always referred to it as.
same ^ but i totally get what you mean by brain tickles, thats the best way of phrasing it. I love that feeling a lot but I don't get it from anything other than drugs though we may be talking about two different things lol.
it's not like being dosed all over again, it's really just kind of like a flashback of it. maybe like thirty seconds of the brain tickle and a smile. idk, i think it's just kind of a pavlovian response to something i seem to experience a lot while coming up/tripping.
Tuning my frequency...if I go out to play frisbee golf at the course near my house on just the right day I'll get the same feeling, usually leads right to getting the feeling from mush or cid soon after.
If you're talking about the feeling SWIM thinks you are(an odd and enjoyable feeling in the upper face and head), SWIM describes that feeling as the feeling you get when you have a great laugh. The difference is,SWIM says the feeling stays with you, even when you're not laughing.
always called it brain tingling, but i like brain tickles better!!! i dont have a name for it, but it usually comes in the first 15 of being dosed...good times...then it multiplies in effect as the peak hits idk what brings it on at other times, maybe things that are reminiscent of a trip, and sometimes when my mind is blown and i get chills, my brain "tickles"...idk if its similar i will have to pay attention to that now
Yeh i get this or atleast somthing similar, allways thought of it as kinetic energy, pure exitement build up. And yeh ive experianced it a lot without coming up on drugs aswell, stood in a beutifull place just at one with ones self .. the feeling of pure content .. Total happines, blissfull etc ..
dude!!! ok so i am for the first time reliving the last show i tripped face at, like FUCKING face...and i ate the lucy like an hr before the show, so it was perfect for when they started. and i had the tickling feeling through the first song...and shit now im on cloud 9 all hyper and jittery (not like my trip but its bringing back so much energy) fuckn scary yet VERY CRAZY
I always said it felt like a fountain of electricity in my back shooting against my brain and slowly lossing charge and falling back down my back, like a big fountain in a hotel. We just said called it spine electricity or something, I don't remember it's been awhile since I've dropped acid.
nope.. for me on the comeup, it feels like my brain stem tightens up and gets really tight, and there is this warm sensation....and something in my olfactory catches the scent/feeling of burning/smoke. the head-space-opening-up/brain-tickle-giggle is a sober thing for me or for way after the come down
My third eye tickles sober... :shrugs: I agree though, there definitely is a feeling. It was mentioned here before that it even happens right before you take the drug. Id say I have to agree... God's evolution accelerator?
