yes. It wouldn't be too hard. I've already replaced one. there's also a fuse to remove for disabling it, like if you have to drive with a donut, but i ve heard that it makes this car drive like garbage.' I miss my 75 olds omega.. that's what the omega was supposed to be for, but, shit happens.
Its amazing what a little tweaking will do. The 1965 Ford Galaxy, somthing about this car I don't like at all. The 1966 Ford Galaxy. Basically the same car but with a few little tweeks I love it.
Theirs 2 very subtle bodylines. The back roof line has a slight curve to it where it goes from the roof to the trunk. The other is the top of the rear fender has a curve in it compared to the 65's flat lines.
Ditto, Ditto, And Triple Ditto, Had You Offered Me $100.000 I Could Not Have Named That Car. No Obvious Badge Work, Nothing To Set It Aside From A Hundred Other White Cars Whose Shape Was Designed In A Wind Tunnel.... Cheers Glen.
To me ,there's really nothing that is collectable after the early part of the 70s. I'm talking about factory produced cars. The cars from the 40s and especially the 50s and some of the 60s were like sculptures, almost. Everything modern looks like jellybeans to me--all the same.
I don't know how old my mom was, but her dad bought this same 1967 mustang in this color. The car is now parked at my aunts house, and has been for the last 8 to 10 years. I have drove it once. Its probably be driven 200 miles in the last 10 years. The body is in great shape, few dings, but overall its great. The steering is very weird on it. It makes small turns left and right slithgly, an it requires more strenth than todays cars to keep it strait. I bet the car will sit there tell one of my cusions, or myself buys it from her. Her youngest son is a mechanic, so most likely he will get it. I don't believe my aunt will ever sell it to anyone but family, because she knows if she did, she would get shit for it for years.
To post 156=(SIDETRACK) Oh man--I put the dashboard in that baby!! Did that from 64 1/2 'till late '67 when I started in learning the roofing trade. It was a shit job,but the money was good--58 hours a week trying to keep up with the buying public. OK--carry on.
I'm going to say, I think that modern cars that exaggerate older styles tend to look like shit. The second two are hideous. The top is, but, is it that hideous lotus? They have made some ugly but amazing cars. As for me, I installed a (haggared, from saved up dumpster and other castoff parts) stereo system today, and decided I REALLY need steering bushings, car's started drifting badly out of the lane I want it in, on non-crowned roads. I guess steering rack rebuild and bushings are my winter break project. Kicking a front tire can shift the wheel a quarter inch, so going strait they must both be swept back and ripping my tires up.....
