I want to start barefooting outside, but I have a problem with the cold. Living in the Highlands of Scotland, I get very cold if I go outside with no shoes on! Even when I'm indoors, sometimes I just have to put socks on or else I start to feel like I'm going to catch a cold. Is there anything I can do to solve this? Or will I just have to get used to it
Hiya, I'm a year round barefooter in the UK, firstly greetings xx When I moved to the UK from San Diego, California about 8 yrs ago it was like moving to the Arctic. However I did'nt change my habits I just carried on barefoot and within a very short time my body adjusted (saying that it took ages for me to get used to the wet climate!). It might be just that I was more used to being exposed and the adjustment was easier. I don't know your situation but friends who go barefoot part-time wear minimal shoes the rest of the year i.e. sandals, maybe that would be your way forward? Sx
