It dwarfs the White House. It is ridiculously large - and does not fit the structural continuity of the building at all. Grotesque - just like everything he does.

Macho men farmers were supposedly crying tears of joy because Trump rescinded a water regulation.

Trump squandered a few billion gallons of water from dams in California that the farmers needed for the 2025 summer, and which were of no use for fighting wildfires, so that he could claim he 'won' the 'water wars'. The farmers should be crying about that.

The planned ballroom will have an area of 90,000 square feet.

That's equivalent to 300 by 300 feet, a square whose sides are the length of a football field.

Some Trump critics fear they could be the president's next target for prosecution

    excerpt:

"On Sept. 20, Trump posted a message — which an official said was intended to be private — that called on Attorney General Pam Bondi to prosecute three of his perceived foes: Comey, James and Sen. Adam Schiff, D-Calif.

Five days later, Lindsey Halligan, a former Trump personal attorney who’d been installed as acting U.S. attorney for Virginia’s eastern district, sought and won a grand jury indictment of Comey.

Twenty days later, Halligan sought and attained an indictment of James."

But many probably won't because it was Trump who injured them.

Trump injured them his way, and he did it with style.

Trump’s East Wing destruction echoes his tactics at Mar-a-Lago and Trump Tower

    https://www.miamiherald.com/news/politics-government/article312585121.html

    excerpt:

"President Donald Trump has begun demolition of the East Wing as he remakes the White House in his image, ignoring rules, breaking promises and taking a wrecking ball to the approval process in an echo of the strategies he deployed in Florida and New York as he built his real estate empire.

An excavator ripped off the facade and parts of the roof on Monday, exposing the stone shell below. Windows have been removed. A truck carried trees outside the White House gates and down Pennsylvania Avenue. A crowd gathered outside to witness the partial tear-down of the historic building — which Trump said just weeks ago would not be touched in his plans to build a new ballroom."

At the 2011 White House Correspondents' Association dinner, Obama roasted Trump by imagining Trump would be president someday and turn the White House into Mar-a-Lago.

    It's become reality.

Trump's ballroom will be about twice the size of the main White House complex.

Trump says it's needed to accommodate state dinners.

One of Trump's aides says to him, "Sir, I had a dream you got your parade. It was miles and miles long - winding through Washington DC. Joyful Americans lined the route, literally in the millions. People were laughing, cheering, playing in the street. You were riding in the most beautiful carriage." Trump asks, "Did I look happy?"

The aide answers, "I don't know, sir. The casket was closed."
