Trump sued DBS for editing an interview it did with Harris. Trump achieved a settlement with CBS, but only because the company that owns CBS needed approval for a merger by the FCC that Trump owns.

Chuck Schumer suggests filing FCC complaint for Trump's unhinged CBS '60 Minutes' interview because it was highly edited to remove the parts that look embarrassing to Trump.

Trump was furious in the 60 Minutes interview when informed factually that grocery prices have increased during his second term.

Trump says all grocery prices are down except beef, which he says he's working on. That means he's importing beef from Argentina (whom he gave $20 billion in handouts) while the U.S. ranchers struggle with the current beef situation.

During the interview, Trump deflected when asked when he is going to finally release his healthcare plan.

It's been over ten years since he announced he was running for president in June 2015 when he first started talking about big, beautiful, inexpensive, quality healthcare for everyone..

He still hasn't given his plan for healthcare.

Voters express frustration with Trump's handling of economy, NBC News poll shows

    excerpt:

"In a poll of 1,000 voters taken between Oct. 25-28, 63% said Trump had fallen short of expectations regarding the economy.

Separately, 65% said Trump had fallen short of looking out for the middle class, and 66% expressed the same sentiment for the handling of inflation and the cost of living.

Trump's overall approval rating in the poll has fallen 4 points to 43% since March, while 55% disapprove of the president's job performance."

Trump is already grooming the public with his narrative that, if the GOP loses control of the House in the 2026 midterms, it was because it was stolen from them. It gives him a backdrop to try to justify whatever dictator tactics he might use to corrupt the 2026 midterm elections.

Trump has no meaningful recourse on his 'stolen election' quest because none of his claims are factual..Even Pam Bondi doesn't know what to do about it.

Perhaps the best he can do for himself is to have his DOJ try to find election officials in the 2020 campaign in battleground states he lost and try to charge them with mortgage fraud (which has become Trump's go-to tactic for retaliation).

Trump reportedly is trying to have Schumer charged with mortgage fraud. He already did it to Letitia James. He tried to do it to Lisa Cook, a member of the Federal Reserve board.

Those types of approaches are appeasement-oriented. In general they don't work with Trump.

China had the appropriate tactic in spring 2025 when it didn't give in to Trump. The warehouses in the U.S. were becoming empty and the store shelves would have been next. The major stock indices fell by as much as 20%.
Trump gave in during the spring 2025.

Trump also conceded to China in late October 2025.

Other countries need to organize and form cooperative groups to protect themselves from Trump.

Other countries need an economic version of NATO. When one country is attacked by Trump, it will be considered an attack on the group and the group will response to protect its members.

Trump will never stop with his trade wars.

He's in his second term and has started the trade wars again at a higher intensity, and for reasons that have nothing to do with trade..

He simply loves to start fights with people and put their heads in a vise.

    These are not ordinarily prosecuted.
Neither is over-stating the value of an adjacent property on an application.

CBS News heavily edits Trump 60 Minutes interview, cutting boast network ‘paid me a lotta money’

    excerpt:

Trump sat down with correspondent Norah O’Donnell for 90 minutes, but only about 28 minutes were broadcast. A full transcript of the interview was later published, along with a 73-minute-long extended version online.

While 60 Minutes traditionally cuts down interviews, these edits are particularly notable because, exactly one year before Trump was interviewed by O’Donnell at his Mar-a-Lago resort on Friday he had sued CBS over the editing of a 60 Minutes interview with Kamala Harris, then the vice-president, which he alleged had been deceptively edited to help her chances in the presidential election.

Many legal experts widely dismissed the lawsuit as “meritless” and unlikely to hold up under the first amendment, but CBS settled with Trump for $16m in July. As part of the settlement, the network had agreed that it would release transcripts of future interviews of presidential candidates.

At the beginning of Sunday’s show, O’Donnell reminded viewers that Paramount settled Trump’s lawsuit, but noted that “the settlement did not include an apology or admission of wrongdoing”.

The Trump Administration’s Campaign to Undermine the Next Election

    excerpt:

"This resource offers the first chronicle of the Trump administration’s actions this year to undermine election integrity. They include:

    attempting to rewrite election rules to burden voters and usurp control of election systems;

    targeting or threatening to target election officials and others who keep elections free and fair;

supporting people who undermine election administration; and

retreating from the federal government’s role of protecting voters and the election process."

Trump didn't roll out the red carpet for Zelensky.

He and Vance insulted Zelensky at the White House.
