Ever see this man before while you were sleeping?

    http://www.thisman.org/theories.htm

Who is this guy, and why has his face been popping up so much?

    Government experiments?
    Illuminati?
    ......
    A real person?

Me either. I'm just really freaked out by him.
    His face makes me uneasy.
If I ever see him in my dreams, I'm going to try and get him to talk to me.

It's possible that after seeing that image, people start "seeing him in dreams" and add to the conspiracy. When all it really is, is a form of subliminal mind game.

Yeah, I'm always skeptical about these things. But it's fun to think "What if."

i've seen that link before. i don't remember what my dream people look like most of the time, but i'm pretty sure they look like actual people and not baron von unibrow.

The people in my dreams have very vague features. I've never had a dream where I could a person's face clearly. It's always their actions that are most apparent.

if its a jungian dream archetype i'd imagine (based on certain of the features) that it would be representative of fears either of our own animal natures or of our ultimate obsolescence- given that the face has vaguely neanderthal proportions. a shared but vague subconscious fear of our own place in the grander scheme of evolution etc precarious and easily cast aside like our neanderthal cousins.

    just a theory.

but i've never seen it before, and i'd never heard of anyone who had, before clicking the link. also, given that dreams are always interpreted retroactively, and pretty hazily at that, i find it unlikely that anyone could remember the exact proportions of a face with such a degree of accuracy that they could confidently claim that it was the same face as appeared in another's dream.

I have never been able to remember faces of those I have interacted with in a dream. I can remember the situation, clothing (especially if something is odd, like a hat or something vintage/ancient) maybe a type of car or house, stuff like that. But not a face... Even if it is someone I have interacted with in more than one dream, I just "know it's them" but they always or usually "look different" so again I wouldn't be able to describe them very well.

Now a room in a dream that I have had many times, that is a reoccurring dream I believe to be from a past life. That I can describe in great detail, even though I haven't had that dream for many, many years. There's a sound that goes along with this dream and I can't describe the sound in words but know it when I "hear" it...

I've thought that it could have possibly just been a very primal form of fear as well.
And I guess how they knew other people were seeing it was because they showed them a picture or something.
It all could be a fake, but who knows?

it would be fascinating if this genuinely was an archetypal neanderthal, and that somehow the guilt of having annihilated the entire neanderthal species is STILL present in the collective subconscious of homo-sapiens. sins of the fathers, and all that.

I thought neanderthal genes still show up in some peoples DNA... Admittedly we wiped them out as a species but there's still something left of them in us.

well, there was some interbreeding, there has even been suggestions by archeologists that we kept neanderthals as sex slaves when H.Sapiens achieved dominance. their decline was either caused by us, by climactic changes or two volcanic super-eruptions around the time they dissapear from the fossil record. what is clear though, is that homo sapiens hunted what was left of them into extinction. (not in the sense that we hunt for food, more in the sense that we kick puppies to death)

They do. Escpecially if you originated near the British Isles. My husband is very neanderthal-like.
Prominent brow, bulky figure, protruding rib cage.
The most common traits that are still seen today. =)
