is there anything in life other than food that the five second rule applies to?

 

What's the "five second rule" ?

 

you can still eat a piece of food that has dropped on the floor if it's only been there for less than 5 seconds

 

I don't follow this rule, btw. I think it's gross when food drops on the floor and don't eat it. I was just wondering if this rule applies to anything else.

 

I can't think of anything.I guess someone could make some relationship analogy.

I've seen lots of people apply it to food..not with serving food to other people or anything, but if they're about to eat it themselves and drop it, they pick it up quickly and eat it

 

its also how long you can stay after the sex is over

They pick it up quickly so that hopefully nobody would see them do it and if someone does see them they use the so called '5s rule'. It's just an easy, made-up excuse

It really depends on what kind of food and the condition of the floor dropped upon.

 

with the 5 second rule...your food is contaminated in much less than 5 seconds. so yeah, it depends a lot on the condition of the floor.

how long is "the rule" for bud?

 

funny.. I found a bud on the floor while ripping out the carpet. it was at least 5yrs old..

yes, it wasnt very good. but it was ok,,
