humans or God?
did God create humans or did humans create God?

As a Christian I believe that nothing came before God since we are taught to believe that nothing is greater than God.

 

Both the chicken and the egg are essential for eachother. Two beings (not truely chickens) without a reproductive barrier mated to create a chicken. So neither the chicken nor the egg came first.

But as far as the first life goes, the proverbial chicken came first, chemical compounds formed, which created amino acids and proteins and eventually organisms formed.

I am not trying to take you from you're faith I'm trying to find the answers to what I believe (or should believe) I know some previous posts seem as otherwise but, finding faith is all I want (faith in what I don't know)

 

no, that wasn't it at all, duck. i'm not a christian. i just thought that the question you asked has been covered endlessly not only in numerous threads in the forums, but really since the beginning of time. i was questioning the purpose of such a broad question, and especially in a forum dedicated to those who worship the christian god.

Why is this your belief roly?

 

The idea is that God has always existed - He was not created by anything, but is the absolute source of being. To suggest that humans created God implies that one doesn't believe in such a source.
However - human ideas about God may not be correct.
The only way to know the truth would be to come to know God.

God was first! He created everything. The chicken was also first, because Noah didn't roll and egg onto the boat. He took two of each animal. That would be like saying God created sperm and egg first, and not Adam and Eve.

But humans created god, and the god humans created created the chicken? Hmm which was first, humans or chicken? Since chickens are simpler, I would guess they came sooner... So how could they have been created by a god which was created by humans, which as of then did not yet exist?

I don't know why this question is being asked. No one knows for fact whether there is a god and whether it created us or we created it. the answer is WE DON'T KNOW. It's been pondered for millenia, what makes you think a bunch of kids on an internet forum have the answer? Just be satisfied with the unknowing, it's far less restrictive.
