I saw the movie The Grudge. And, wow, what a spine chilling movie! Has anyone else seen it? What did you think?
I did, and it sucked. It was a rip off of The Ring and wasn't even scary. World Police was so much better.
holy shit that movie SUCKED!!! fuck, i HATE predictable movies. it was really stupid, and not scary. the only reason i went and wasted my money on it was to see bill pullman, and even that was dissapointing because he was only in it long enough to throw himself off a building.
the movie i like kinda freaky, ring rip-off, and everyone in the audience was scared shitless while i was laughing my ass off at the movie(me and my two friends Jen and LittleBuddy). so what i did was i did the meow thing on the walk after the movie becuase i black cat ran acroos us and meowed lol it was funny shit
I still want to see it... even if it is predictable, I bet there's a few good "jumpy" points. What the hell is with that small Asian kid that makes the weird sound???
I wanna see it..is it gory? I like scary movies but dont like Gory movies..movies like Gothika are the ones I like.
I saw the movie and it was awesome. It wasn't predictable and it certainly made me jump at certain points. I'm glad I spent my Grand Theft Auto San Andreas money to see this movie.
I saw the original, "Ju-On: The Grudge" with subtitles. Its a 'ring rip off' because it was done by the same director (at leas the originaly japanese version) Some neat cinematography and a few fun scenes, not scary though.
bill pullman as in chet from weird science? you're saying that they threw pullman off some building and you were dissappointed?! holy shit that would be a blessing to most people. i hated that guy in independence day... or was that paxton... whatever, they're both equally marginally talented.
Technically he wasn't thrown off a building, he just randomly rolled over the rail on his own. It was funny actually because of how it happened.
regardless if he was thrown off a building or not. he should be killed in every movie he does, because space balls was the only movie he did that was worth while. oh and the director of the grudge is not the director of the original ring. the director of the US grudge is the same director for the jap grudge. the thing about jap horror (or pretty much asian horror in general) i've noticed is they're all pretty much cookie cutter ring flicks.
ok, has there been a remake? I saw the Japanese version and that ittle boy was one scary kid, the movie was pretty atmospherically freaky too. But Bill Pullman wasn't in that movie...so yeah, if it's a remake then meh. If it's the japanese one, ooooh, that gave me the shivers.
