loved it...bad acting but a great idea for a movie...it was weird though all in one room it felt more like play than a movie ..

It blew me away in 1977 in theater and still holds up in this century.

    The Pyramid

It was okay. I only rented it because I thought Alexandre Aja directed it. Turns out he only produced the film though. I never would have bothered to watch it if I had known that in the first place.

The movie is an interesting concept, but not really all that scary.

    Alive Inside: Music and Memory

This was an interesting documentary of the effects music has on patients with dementia as well as other diseases.

I saw some of Madea's Christmas this afternoon. I think I'll watch the rest of it tomorrow and look for my daughter. She was an extra and I'm not sure she's even seen the movie.

    I enjoyed the movie although..

    *SPOILER ALERT*

I found Matt Damon's acting in this movie pretty terrible. Like it was so bad I was wondering if he had it in for McConaughey being the main actor or something. Damon is normally terrific in movies, which left me puzzled. Given the nature of his role, I think it lent itself to an eccentric character perhaps but the way Damon performed I just couldn't keep telling myself that.

That said the special effects were fantastic, I really liked the integration of the scientific theories into the movie and there was some moving emotional moments as well.

Yeps, same here. I liked it better than I expected after hearing how other people were disappointed in it. Didn't notice/recall what you say about Damon's acting though (at least not to the same extent), but yeah, his character was pretty much losing it, and I would probably too if I were in his situation :p At least he got that across properly right :)
