The Life Aquatic

I absolutely love this movie. It's one of my favorites. I love Bill Murray, I love Willem Dafoe, I love the soundtrack, I love the pretty colors of it. I think the dialogue is genius and it makes me feel like a little kid.

great great great and hilarious film. but then I think everything Wes Anderson has ever done is excellent. certainly my favorite modern director. Rushmore is my #1 film ever.

 

Awesome movie, especially when you're high. That submarine sequence with the sigur ros song is probably the most breathtaking scene of any movie I've watched.

 

Im a big fan of Wes Anderson myself, basically I think the man is a genius, but people dont seem to get his sense of humor. I love Rushmore too

 

I love The Royal Tenenbaums too, I think those films basically resume my favorites comedies.

Autentique, have you seen his first picture, Bottle Rocket? he was still kind of developing his style, but I found it to be funnier than anything he's put out since. the debut film for the Wilson bros as well as Wes, and shows them (Luke & Owen) at their best. they should have stuck to smaller and more left-of-center films. here's a short scene:

The Darjeeling Limited was very good too..

It's just so hard to find his movies, I remember trying to get Darjeeling before, maybe I should try to download it?

great movie.. most people i've told about it though havent liked it.. you really gotta have a certain sense of humor for his movies.. Tenenbaums is deffinately my favorite.. i havent seen all of I heart Huckabees yet though to determine if i like that as well

 

not to be a dick, but Huckabees wasn't Anderson (though Jason Schwartzman was the lead, so I can understand the mix-up).

I loooooove Life Aquatic, prolly my favorite film by Wes Anderson! He is a genius! Bottle rocket was awesome especially since it has like every Wilson bro in the movie. I looooooooooved his new film The Darjeeling Limited I thought it was amazing. The Royal Tenembaums rocked!
I saw Joker mention I Heart Huckabees even tho Wes doesnt do that film I Still think its amazing haha!
