I just used some left over brewed coffee I had. I think if you use instant just use the same amount of powder to make a cup of coffee that says on the container. I usually make around 12 cups of coffee and use 4.5 tablespoons of the grounds, if that helps. Is that what you were asking?

Finally got around to re dyeing last night. I put in a teaspoon of Coffee and the juice of half a lemon.Left it on for 12 hours and slept with a bag on my head which was uncomfortable to say the least! I rinsed out this morning and my hair is already fully dry. Anyone else's dreads dry really fast after the second year or am I lucky???

I didn't get a brown tint it's more of a reddish tint and I'm in love with it. Only dyed my roots though, I will dye the rest of my dreads the same colour in the same way later next month, because I am skint but absolutely LOVING what it did to my hair

Thanks babeh, It came of the back of a dead soldier or something. I'll never know coz his issue number was ripped off it. You can easily pick up non issue shirts for ten dollars in thrift stores and on eBay.

I don't have them any more Although have been thinking about getting them again, because my hair is just rubbish.

Sometimes I get crazy urges, and thought it would be good to have 'normal' hair again. I can't do much else with my hair, so I think I will get them again, I do miss them.

So, that gives me a year before Eurovision

 

I get the crazy urges too especially when I see someone with gorgeous long hair, then I remember that I just can't get back into the habit of brushing and washing it every bloody day. Get them naowww for Euro

 

Yeah, I hate fussing around with my hair, I don't do much with it. I haven't brushed it in over two weeks, so I might as well carry on like this! And, by the time we're in Germany, I should have something back

The red seems to have disappeared, hope it's the light. Yeah I agree the colour really suits me. It's a nice red, not too in your face but subtle enough to change should I tire of it. I'm writing up a step by step for lush hennas on my blog. I love lush henna!

If anymore of my dreads break off, I'll definitely think about offering them to people who want them. All attempts to sew them back in are fruitless. Infact I have a 5 incher on my dressing table
