The matrix architect

What is your interpretation of the architect in the matrix movie? Is he supposed to represent god? A symbolic representation of our enviroment?

I think he is meant to be Andy Wachowski as he'd like to see himself. Spewing out a little metaphysics all the time using more words than you can shake a lexicon at

 

The Architect seems to me like the physical laws of the universe all logic all numbers. The Oracle seems to me like the quantum physics free spirit all about balancing out the universe from a sate of animated death. And Neo seems to me like life, the conscious observer who makes the whole wheel turn by collapsing the wave function in doing so creating a sphere of reality in which all possible forms of existence can remain in continues evolution...

 

So you see it as him (representing consciousness or spirit) overcoming his enviroment

 

I don't know if that's the right term to say overcoming the environment , its about finding a way to coexist or to use someones or something natural tendencies to one self improvement in order to become something greater then both. Every atom every inch of empty space...everything is the architect of reality all there is are different dimensions different forms of the same pattern. We are all interconnected the only meaning that can be found is do to relativity.

 

Satan?

 

The architect symbolises the demiurge of Gnosticism. It is the structure that orders our entire existence and that which brings about everything you see. It has been likened to satan, as some of the things it manifests can be seen as "bad" but I tend to view it as a more neutral entity, one that can either help or hinder you.
