I'm tired of hearing "Would you eat a steak to save a (insert an animal)?" or "Would you eat meat for $1,000?"

Seriously? I don't care if people are trying to be funny, but these questions are rather annoying.

HAHA! That is a good response. We are so conscientious about our diets that we get enough protein.

my brother passed out on sunday and literally everyone but me was sayin the same thing over again: "You don't get enough protein!!" (he's vegetarian)
that was so annoying, but the reason he passed out is cuz he doesn't eat enough. his vital signs were actually better than the firemen that came to our house.

    How about £1,000,000,000? :p

Nah, is annoying. Let people just get on with their own lives, with all the bells and whistles.

It's a personal choice, I don't go around asking meat eaters if they would bum a tramp for a tenner, although it could be pretty funny.

I would fuck up some innocent life for $100,000.
    You know what I HATE!?
When people say being vegan is too hard or "I can't cook, I can't become vegan?"

I just did it and (after 3 years vegetarian)......tis not difficult. :D

Thats pretty fucked video. I just like when I eat meat it's my instinct that takes over and it's the most delicious thing in the world. If I could I would torture the people that do these cruel things to the animals.

Yeah it's no good that people do that shit.
But I never judge people by whether or not they eat meat so it's all good.

I mean, you wouldn't wish that upon any living being right?

Right, well I don't see it to be much of a problem for that to happen to the people that let that happen, or if they did something else that's really fucked up. Anyways I only get free range no antibiotic meat.

There's loopholes in everything, my friend, but kudos to you.

People are trying to understand where you are coming from and are using poor attempts at humor to have conversation with you.

Use this as an opening of the door to the conversation about what you believe regarding proper diet.

I would think these are people who are not familiar with vegetarian lifestyle, or are trying to understand it and can only do so in a legalistic tit-for-tat kind of way. Open their eyes.

Do you get asked this a lot? I'd be upset with my friends if they truly pushed that question repeatedly.

As a meat eater I've never really considered asking my vegetarian friends a question like that. Maybe because I ate a vegetarian diet for a year once, who knows. Seems rather tacky and lo-brow, but as I said, use it as a chance to educate.

Take the 1000$ and then refuse to eat the meat.

On a more serious note: Take the 1000$ and then refuse to eat the meat.

It's a classic that every "non-carnivore" has been asked in one way or the other. At least just for once let yourself have all the fun. Beleive me they'll never do it again.

Having just switched over to a vegan diet, I'm saying seriously just take these opportunities to educate people...

Drop casual knowledge. 'Nah, I don't need rotting flesh sitting in my intestines for days.'

I mean, really, use the chance to make it clear that when people bring up meat to you they will be getting the truth regarding the subject.

    They'll stop bringing it up.
