yeah i feel you on that. i picture them in the same setting. a dark smokey bar. jim's voice mesmerizing people. his voice definitely does have a very trance-like feel to it

Oh yeah..i think this weekend ill smoke a bowl or 15 and then dim the lights...throw on the doors...drink a beer or 6 and just go motionless on the couch..and let Jim take over...

You know what i just thought of? Jim had that memorizing voice...you know who else did.
Jimi Hendrix..his voice captures your soul..and takes you to a different place...Man JIM is the perfect name for a lead singer.

 

i can't say i agree with you there. jimi could play the guitar like the guitar was made for him to play. you can hear the soul and emotion in every note. however, i don't think he was the greatest singer in the world, especially live. don't get me wrong, i like his voice but i don't think he's a great singer. he even said himself he hated his voice

 

hmm...well stated...i would say his guitar is really what took you mind over..so i would actually agree with you there...but i never take peoples thoughts on themselves worth anything...people tend to not like anything they do lol....

i'm always pretty impressed with neil young's voice

and im not a huge Zeppelin fan...and i dont wanna be really cliche but...

Plant's voice in Stairway always captured me.

 

oh yeah robert plant's voice is fucking awesome. however, i never thought he was very good live. i mean there's a difference between having a good voice and the studio giving you a good voice. i'm not sure robert plant had as good a voice as on the studio albums
