The NRA should be declared a terrorist organization

The NRA is supplying weapons of mass destruction to anyone that wants to commit a mass killing. And worse yet, they are like the Italian mafia, in that they have corrupted the U.S. politicians.

 

I understand what you're trying to say, but I tend to think there's a difference since the NRA isn't doing anything illegal. How you take that would largely depend on your stance on gun control.

 

Terrorist is a word strictly reserved for "those people" we don't like - usually muslims. A muslim with a gun is a terrorist while a white guy with a gun who commits a massacre is just some crazy dude. If the "war on terrorism" was seriously a war on terrorism and not just against radical islamism, the NRA would and should have been a target.

 

Supplying weapons of mass destruction to terrorists IS illegal.

What WMDs are they supplying? Assault rifles are not considered WMDs by law and are not illegal.

 

Gun control doesn't work. Only an uninformed or stupid person would claim otherwise. More so, the NRA isn't even that pro-gun, since they have actually helped to draft anti-gun legislation with Congress, but that is something people brainwashed into the partisan left/right mindset will never understand.

You do understand what the NRA is, don't you.
It's not some weapons manufacturer or broker or anything having to do with the actual arms industry.

Please make sure your brain is in gear before typing.

 

NRA doesn't supply anything... they lobby in D.C. to allow others to do the supply part of it. They do teach classes on how to use said weapons though...

I am seeing this kind of "guns are evil" talk everywhere now and I worry that the final nail in all our coffins will be the overwhelming stupidity of the masses. I think the ingorant are the real terrorists, they are scaring the shit out of me.

Maybe if more people had conceal carry he wouldn't have been able to kill as many people as he did. I am not saying they would have killed him with all the body armour he had on but they could have taken his attention away from the others while they fled the building. I would have shot back if I was put in that situation, I might be dead today but then again he might be dead as well.

 

Terrorism isn't perpetrated only by WMDs. OP made a silly error, but he has a point. It was a mass killing, made easy to carry out by the NRA. That much is clear.

but i am still behind CCW...I just think it should be more difficult to get that license...and actually be meaningful in how to get it. it is scary how easy it is to get your CCW license in missouri. sit in a class for 10 hours, go to the range and shoot 10 times, here's your permit.


it should be 10 hours in the range, learning how to care for and maintain gun, and should also include a basic field medic course.

 

I do agree with that it is to easy to get and the training is getting to be a joke. That 10 hours class is sometimes over in 4 hours.
