Asalamu aleykum! I am sorry for my on going absent from these forums, hopefully this will change from now on... Seeing all these threads discussing politics, problems and anxieties in the muslim world I feel its time to discuss the remedies and not just the symptoms, its usually easy to spot whats wrong but difficult to try to cure the problem. People usually have a tendacy to blame an external source to rid on self from being taken to account though I think its time to realize where the essence of this problem lies. Albeit, US and Israelic imperalism has caused immense problems and suffering its not the greatest cause for our sitiuation (Im currently in Syria, "a few blocks" from Libanon) in the world as general, the problem lies where all other problem reside: in the heart. As the poet said: “The greatest treasures are those invisible to the eye but found by the heart.” or as Allah says in his book (interpretation of meaning) : "For surely it is not the eyes that are blind, but blind are the hearts which are in the breasts." (K 22.46) This is simply a call directed towards me and to you to stop sinning, lying and commiting all the things that we most surely commit. Theres a beatiful verse in sura Ra`d that puts everything I want to say in one sentence: ...surely Allah does not change the condition of a people until they change their own condition... (13:11) We are drowning my dear brothers and sisters, and its time to realize this. Stop complaining about others and start complaining about ourselves. Il end this with the famous words of the great caliph Umar who said: "Take your self into account before you will be taken into account (on the day of Judgement)"
cabdirazzaq Wa Aleykum Assalam dear brother Wa Rahmatu Allahi Wa Barakatu Amen to that =) welcome back brother, I really did miss you Dear brother, remedies are already there, we can offer it as many did, but yeah The US and those who should take it won't take it 'cause they have other Goals , we have to open ppl's eyes if they don't know to stop supporting those evils May Allah protect you brother, Amen =) Ma'sha'Allah, indeed wise words from a dear Muslim brother, so proud of you, May Allah bless you my brother, bless your parents & family, yeah let's begin from ourselves, changing ourselves in the first place, And of course while we are doing so we can try to change the bad situations around us as well. Link, Excellent story Ma'sha'Allah.Thank you for posting this thread =) *Peace and love* Yours Sincerely, Cat Stevens
It is exactly like the doctor, when he was student the first time when he wanted to vivisect and anatomize a dead body , in the beginning he shook but day after day it will become to him something very normal, he sees people bleeding , people in very bad situation it's ok, he will not throw up or lack the appetite nor he will faint. i.e. e.g. A lied today, a black spot scratch his heart. Next day he slapped his friend, another black spot will scratch his heart, and so on , until the blackness will cover his heart ,after that such ppl don't care about others, they become senseless, there is a cover on their heart, they should remove it*Peace and love* Yours Sincerely, Cat Stevens
Wa aleykumu salam, exacly! When we forget about these issues (unity), wel just end up perish. It reminds me abou the story of the white bull, have you heard it?
