walkin dowtown are the countless hobos and hippies askin for spare change. they always seem to hang out in front of the coffee shop, or by the atm....
They bother me too, I just walk by them unless they are really cool, and play like the bongos or something
That's why I wouldn't want to live in a college town, or one dominated by unwashed, longhaired hippy scum.
haha matt, Im sure downtown rochester has its collection of hobos too. the ones who play bongos and guitars and stuff, never bother ya, its the ones just hangin out doin nothin that get up into your face and ask for change. there was this one guy who tried to start this conversation with me about him seein 12 different dead shows in the 80s, and then his punchline was, do you have any spare change?? bastard.
should check the ones out in downtown boston, especially up by beacon hill where the governor is haha. the ones that piss me off are around downtown crossing. theres some cool ones by copley, but now the crackheads are invading.
yea, but i still never know how much to give them, i only pay the ones with instruments, theyre mostly hippies, and i know a lot of them, so i figure its okay
yeah, that really pisses me off. because you know exactly where its going, and they probably owe a load of money, but arent sensible enough to do something about it
I feel so guilty for not giving them someting... I wish someone could take care of them... build some sort of free hobo home...
Me and my friends sometimes go to certain coffee shops and say that were just gonna buy tons of coffee for homeless people and they usually give us really good deals.... we just walk around handing out coffee to randoms
simple.. i'd just stand near the ATM and outside the minimart asking regular folks for their spare change
