    i like the ramones. the sex pistols do have more talent and are more political, but i love the ramones. i can see why someone wouldn't call the ramones punk, but i still love em. now that i think of it, i'm not really sure why i like the ramones, i just do.

    Well the ramones came before the sex pistols and were one of the main influences opn the sex pistols, the sex pistols were bullshit(IMO). And Johnny Rotten barking about how he's an anarchist is not what I'd call political.

    The Ramones, by far.

    You can't really doubt The Ramones' musical abilities; The Sex Pistols sucked, they couldn't have been playing their instruments for more than but a few months before they released that horrible horrible album of their's.
    You can also thank the Sex Pistols for all the soundalike "punk" bands that have made it big on the airwaves in the last few years.

    I really don't get Sex Pistols fans, especially the ones who like The Sex Pistols but hate bands like Green Day and Simple Plan and all those others.
