So there was a giant grow bust jus outside edmonton a few weeks ago, somewhat around 21,000 plants I heard, these guys had to of been major suppliers to lots of dealers in the city since I never felt such a shockwave, few nights ago I called # after # everyone was either out completely, or waiting for thier next batch, few told me to wait an hour, I called back, wait a half hour, call back, wait 20 minutes, call back wait another 30 minutes, then finally they show up, god Im gettin scared lol, theyr really startin to crack down on the pot. There was a grow bust in a field somewhere too I heard. Shit I hope the rest make it safely or we might have a hard winter ahead...

I was living by the border of Saskatchewan for a while, believe me the shit that was, I wouldnt buy more than a 20 bag becuz it was 80 a querter. I was on the northside on the weekend tryna get some but it was a hassle as hell. Talked to a buddy of mine ben and he said it was cuz of the big greenhouse bust . Also said the weed wasnt as great no more. I called one guy that I know has great weed and always has it, hes been paying 200 an oz for it cuz its real good shit. But when I called he said not to call him no more, so I said fuck him and erased his #. The others took a long while but eventually they pulled threw. So either theres not enough weed for everyone, or every # we where calling was getting lazy.
yeah man, there was just a big bust, and a smaller one in my area. one had 111 plants, but this was really local, like 2 min drive from my house. the other was insane. something like 100 acres
there was a bust around my home In Wisconsin too. I was driving past a college dorm house and the cops were breaking down the door and the DEA went in and pulled out about 700 plants and 25 people. it sucked it was our towns entire supply. we never had to out-source because we allways had it. now we have to find it somewhere else. that's where I come in.
ya its gettin ruff, I got a bunch of White widow seeds I got from a member of this forum that I havnt heard from or seen online in the longest time ever. If only I had the lighting and the spot to grow it :*(
A single bust ain't gonna do anything to cut supply. For every bust they make, they miss 25. Another thing--most weed is cured, esp. in a comm. gro-op. So lets say the bust a grow. Let's say that the pot the piggies ripped up was a few weeks from being ready. Add 2 weeks to that time for manicuring & drying, another 2 weeks for curing. That's a month and a half. Any street-level dealer smarter than president moron who relied on that grow-op would have called around and found a different supplier. I remember back during the cocaine craze of the 80's the cops busted a warehouse that had something like 100 tons of cocaine, and it didn't affect local availability or price.
