    Um, I love them?

There Is A Light That Never Goes Out is such a great romantic song. Especially the live cover Johnny Marr did with Neil Finn during the 7 World Collide Tour.

The smiths got me through high school... How I love them all.
Haha, I can play the charming man bassline... and sing it too, for what that's worth.

Oh, and Bowie and the Petshop boys and whoever else had/s questionable sexuality, I guess.

haha yea i've kinda gotten the bass line down. the hardest part for me is the part where the lyrics go "A jumped-up pantry boy".

smiths have been getting people through high school for quite a while now I guess. Great musicainship and songwriting along with an unmistakeable sound, they deserve the staying power they seem to have

really good, but also, drug fuelled, and that vibe comes through.so also trippy, and slightly disturbing.

sound familiar. i think my friend hannah mentioned them and let me listen to a song. from that one song, they were pretty good.

  13. Trippy and drug fuelled? Morrisey didn't take drugs did he? I think it was just sadness

Serial killers, child molestation, homo-eroticism, and the world od seperation and sadness.....their first album was stellar....hatful of hollow and louder than bombs frequented in my youth as well...I just try to avoid downbeat music....well late jerry was pretty sad...

Yes, yes, music like none other.

I love it. Morrissey makes me think.

Plus, the sound is just gorgeous.

I don't really know them well, but my present favorite of their is Bigmouth Strikes Again. Not so much 'cause of the lyrics, but the style is so unique, and the accent is great.

Is Morrissey gay? I've just been wondering about that.....

  19. That is an interesting question. I don't actually know what they mean, but apparently the first album is full of lyrics about confused sexuality. And he was a big fan of oscar wilde. He was obviously pretty feminine too.

    So...you might be onto something.
