Today was a crazy day. I woke up at 3:eek:o a.m to big Al. Big Al was one of the last guys who picked me up on route 66. He was big and tough and had many stories about life. From love to law, he lived life well and was going to tell how he did it. Anyways, it's was 3:eek:o a.m when Big Al pulled over on the side of the road and turned off the semi. The stars were shinning bright in the dark sky. " Have you ever heard of the famous revolution " he asked. I never really was a morning person, hell, i was never good at waking up.
I didn't answer Big Al's question, I was to busy dreaming you dig??? So i closed my eyes and went back to sleep. I was having a dream. It was midnight and I was in France walking on the wet cobble stone streets. It must have been cold because I was wearing a black scarf and a black coat and I could see my breath. I walked through the empty streets. No cars. No people. It was just me and the street lights lighting up the wet cobble stone roads. It was so quiet, dark, and dead. Then I came across a bar with the open light on. I felt like this must have been the only bar open in the world, because France was so quiet, dark, and dead. I decided to go in and have a drink.
The bar was like a 192o's speak easy with flappers and big time mobsters. When I walked into the bar, time seemed to slow down. The light's dimmed. I could barley see anything through the thick cloud of cigarrette smoke.I felt my heart get heavy and dark. I could see the siloet of a piano with a woman on it. The woman was singing. She sounded like Billy Holiday, sweet and haunted. I couldn't make out the lyrics, but I knew she was singing a song of sadness. The pianist sang along with her on his black and white keys. After i gazed upon the piano man and his woman I went up to the bar and asked for a gin and tonic. I don't even like gin and tonic. The bar tender handed me a glass with my order. I just held it in front of me. I looked at it like a child looks at something it doesn't understand.
Then Billy Holiday got off the piano and started walking towards me. "You look lost honey ! ! !" I just looked at the bottom of my gin and tonic and ignored her "You don't belong here SUGER ! ! !" she yelled. Her eyes glowed bright red, and her face melted off her skull. The music had stopped and everyone in the bar turned into life less Holocast victums. They were all looking at me with their empty eye sockets and their mutilated body's. Then she asked me in a booming deep voice. "Have you ever heard of the famous revolution"

I was alittle surprised when Big Al told me to get out of his "Fucking truck". It was 3:eek:3 a.m. and I was walking across route 66. Alone, confused, and tired as fuck. The only thing I knew was the I was somewhere between Las Vegas and Albuquerque. I didn't know what to do, so I just started walking east, hoping that a car might pass by and pick me up. I walked for five fucking hours. The craziest things run through your mind when your walking through the dessert with your eyes half opened and your hopes way down.
For reasons unknown, I kept thinking of this dame. . . Maria ! ! ! She was my first lover I guess. We meet at a coffee shop in San Francisco called Cafe Beats. It was a real hip place, with live jazz, and amazing coffee.Anyways, i would go there every morning, buy a cup of joe and then sit by the window and watch people pass by. It was the hipest shit ever. One morning i went to sit down in my seat and there's this dizzy little dame there. She had these gorges blue eyes, and this wild sexy blonde curly hair. She looked like something from my dreams. Then she looked up at me with her beautiful blue eyes. I turned around and walked out of the cofffee shop. I noticed she had a book in her hands though. The Catcher In the Rye it was called. The next day a took the bus down to the library and checked it out. I read that book every second of the day so i could finish it before her.I read it on the bus, on the roof, in the house, on the john. Hell, I pretty much read it in my sleep.Four days later, I walked back into the coffee shop, and she is there sitting in my seat. I barley finished the book so everything was fresh in my mind. I took a seat at the table next to her and looked over to see if she was still reading the same book. Lucky me, she was.
" Great book" I said. She looked up at me.
    "what???"
I said,"Catcher In the rye, It was a great book. A master piece"
    She smiled.
"I love this book, this is my third time reading it. I'm Maria"
"I'm Linus", i said as we shook hands.
    "What's your favorite part???"
I moved to the table she was sitting at and I told her my favorite part. Funny, we most have been there for three hours talking about the book. I didn't even like it.
