it's alright. I like it too, but I've only listened to it a couple of times. I think the new one is better.
yeah..I really just started getting into them and I really have NO idea about anything about them...heh..like, are they still touring and doing concerts? Still coming out with new CD's? What kind of band are they? I really like them a lot! They make me feel............good! Heh, like, I just want to drive around with the window down listening to them, ya know?
Yeah I like the strokes. I saw them trippin one time when I turned on the tv. They were pretty tight. I was impressed =)
i like the strokes, but i think its unfortunate that they're the band [along with the white stripes] that kind of brought back the new garage-rock type sound, cause they get a lot of the hype and credit when there are plenty of better garage bands...but thats me, and im kind of an asshole.
yeah, they're so awesome, I find myself listening to them almost everyday. White Stripes are good too. The Strokes though, what kind of sound are they? I love their music, Is This It? is a great album but I think that Room On Fire is better, much more elaborate. Oh and what kind of sound are they? Well, they're pretty retro... not very original but they're good quality, they remind me of The Velvet Underground and some late 70's new wave bands (like The Cars...)
I like the strokes because the music is so simple, but they still manage to make it really good. If you have a guitar, you could probably learn a strokes song in 20 minutes.
Heh, TVU is who they try to be like if you ask them. They do a nice job of it. Anyway, I like them alot. USed to be one of my favorite bands. Is This It? is great, only hear one or two songs from Room On Fire. Not as great, but still damn good.

yea. the strokes rock way hard, but because there was so much hype surrounding them, people just got tired of the whole retro thing way too fast. but yea. they are still touring & all that jazz...
