From your experience, what can you say about the taste of liquid lsd? Does it have a taste? any comments in regards to the taste of potent liquid vs weak liquid? I tried it once this summer at a festival and it came from a very reputable source...i took 2 drops and noticed it had one of the most interesting tastes ive ever experienced, if you could even call it a taste. It was more like a feeling of something very powerful absorbing quickly in my mouth, and almost metallic, but not at all unpleasant. The feeling it created in my mouth lingered a little for the whole trip and even a bit days after (very weakly) and thats probably only due to my memory of it. it was BY FAR the strongest acid ive ever done, but ive heard from people before that liquid acid should have no taste whatsoever.
depends on what solvents are used to break down the crystal. the substance itself of course has no taste. any other taste would be the result of something added by the distributor to improve palatability, such as a mint of some kind, ala the "fresh breath" droppers.
According to wikipedia, which is quoting Pikhal (though i can't find this passage in any online version), Shulgin says that LSD is mildly bitter.
i have never had and distinct taste though. i'd expect it to taste like a chemical but maybe my taste buds are just bad.
All the liquid Ive had has been diluted with alcohol, not distilled water, so its always tasted like alcohol. Moonshine.
liquid lsd will taste like whatever liquid you put the lsd in. duuuh! lsd has no taste. it tastes like concentrated energy. edit- if your getting lsd that tastes metallic it's because the lsd is diluted with something or you are receiving an impure product. i've eaten tabs that tasted metallic, and ive eaten tabs that didn't. the tasteless lsd is a much cleaner, lucid, trip.
That's exactly how all the liquid I ever had "tasted". It is more of a sensation rather than a taste and it does have a "metallic" element to it.
i've only ever gotten one good batch of doses that tasted metallic, and the trip was still very hectic and clouded. tasteless lsd has always given me much more 'clean' feeling trips, that were much more lucid and provided a better overall sense of well-being. so i'd have to say that metallic tasting lsd is IMPURE.
i would think any form of liquid is impure. afterall it is an LSD solution like with ethanol or something. if it were pure liquid LSD you would have one hell of a trip from a single drop. probably would scare you shitless
Can't draw that conclussion brah. LSD causes a metallic taste in the mouth as one of its most common side effects.
i guess we will never really know for sure, but from my experiences that is the conclusion i have drawn. hard to explain why some blotters taste metallic and others don't, yet both are still obviously lsd, wouldn't you say? i don't think it is a subjective perception, as everyone can agree on what a certain blotter tastes like.
Well from my experience LSD is metallic AND bitter. So personal experience is not very useful in this case on a one-by-one basis. If you looked at the aggregate, you'd see that sometimes LSD has a taste to it. The end. No need to conjure up explanations, we don't have a starting point.
It's not so much that it has a taste in my own opinion, but with both blotter and liquid I experience a fuzzy sensation in the mouth with a sort of metallic feel to it also. It's not a metallic taste, it's a sort of "chappiness" to the mouth. It's how I know straight away my papers are legit 100% of the time so far, lol. Always brings a smile to my face when I get that initial sensation. edit- just read other peoples posts besides OPs and realized I said the same thing as everybody else. Lol. Guess it's true ;p
