I dont know much about it except that it should be coming up here pretty soon, you have to be 21 to get in and you eat balls.
Rocky Mountain Oysters Calf Fryes Bulls Balls Whatever you want to call them -- they're very tasty. Sliced thin, floured, and deep fried. I have a t-shirt and a coozie from last year's that a friend sent me, but I've never been. Evidently Montanans are kind of hard up for entertainment........
Yes, Hippy mama were talkin male balls, gonads, nuts, but these arent human testies. Usually its pig balls also known as mountain oysters. There is a fest in Missouri around the Ozark area. I ate them years ago before I knew what they were and they were yummy. I wont touch them now!
have you ever been to that? i think it would be fun to go and just people watch.....i am sure i wouldn't be partaking in the eating of any turkey testicles.....but i would like to find a shirt....i've heard the shirts are pretty funny......
Scarlett*~ No I have never been. My friends have been but I don't eat meat so there is not much for me there One of my friends goes every year because it is a big drunken party that happens to serve turkey tesicles.
LMAO! I always thought turkey fries were a joke. How many birds have to be killed to serve a crowd? All those Thanksgiving and Christmas turkeys..............something's got to be done with all those nuts, I guess.......
are you talking about the one in platteville, wis. or is there another one somewhere? i do eat meat, on the occasion, but i know i would never be able to stick a testicle in my mouth and eat it....yuck... i can't even imagine the texture.....i'm getting nauseous.....
Scarlet*~ No I didn't know there was one in Pville. My two best friends live in Platteville and they have never mentioned a turkey testicle festival there. The one that i know of is in Byron, IL. Here is a link to a webiste Hehe yep everyone has a website! http://www.turkey-testicle-festival.com/ So clear your calender on October 9th!
Oooo...man....i forgot about the one they have in Bryon....i had heard about that one..... Bryon freaks me out though....so i'm sure i won't be attending.....
Why would anyone want to celebrate eating balls? I mean, for all thats worth you might as well celebrate eating potted meat or pork knuckles/ears/feet/chit'lins/any-other-gross-pig-part.
