ummmmm, i think not. visiting eachother once every 3 months only seem to cost about a grand maybe a lil more...3 months of raising a child costs a heck of a lot more than that. in the short term the immigration is gonna be a lot more expensive but in the long run, im afraid its you guys who have the short end of the stick ..minus the love of a child and all...
your kid should be a good couple of months old by the time we'll be doing the move so...once you have that time indicator to base how much money you'll need AND you still wanna donate we'll consider letteing you...but not untill after the kid is born and you figure out exactly what kind of financial situation you're in then.

 

oh come on Danger! It's not like we're throwing our money away...we want you two to meet and have love-babies just like we did....

Not to mention, with as much support as we have, we can afford the two dollars you're requesting...

Maybe you guys could set up a free iPod business like I'm doing. Set up flyers around local high schools and colleges asking to sign up underneath you (I'm even offering 10$ per completed offer under me) Then sell the iPods on eBay. If you get 50 people under you... you could easily net 3 grand....

Hon, as far as I'm concerned, I've been watching this great drama unfold. It's kept me entertained for months. I think I kinda owe you for that,....and maybe others agree...

 

Honestly the only thing I need in return is for you two to be together in one place. That's what you're doing this for, so ultimately that's the pay off for me.

 

I have to say that I think this is a bullshit way to make money whatever the cause.
You have now become equivalent with the guy on the corner who, for 8 hours a day, asks every single person who walks by for a 1 or 2 dollars (like you were buying him a cup of coffee)
The way this capitalist system is set up sucks because it makes it hard to do the things we want to do. But it is great because it allows us the chance to do the things that would otherwise be impossible.
What I am saying is earn the money do not beg for it. Accept help if it is offered do noy plead for it. Pull yourself together man.

 

well to clarify, we're not taking money for free, we intend to do so mething for every dollar we get, and aren't really accepting actual "donations" i thought danger made tha tpretty clear in this thread.

I was trying to figure out what to do for the baby's room. I was thinking that some bright, colorful decor would be worth something. And it's not like we weren't going to spend our money on that anyway. What baby wants to be stuck in a room with plain white walls? So, would you accept our money for some baby friendly decor? The way I figure it. If I get 5 people to sign up for each offer at 10$ a peice I will have spent 150$ for
-20gig iPod Colour (~200USD)
-4gig iPod Nano (200USD)
-Sony Cybershot DSC-P200 (400USD)

So it's well worth my while. I intend to sell some of the above on eBay to recoupe my costs. Somthing you guys might wanna consider doing.
