I dont know much about JW

I know they come door to door and I know their women dress very conservatively

So I have a question, thefuture - a friend of mine told me her cousin is a JW and can't associate with anyone outside of the church. Is this common practice within the JW community?

And if so I have to admit I'm a little curious to how that applies to asssociating with people on an internet message board
