The US Justice system

    so after finding out a few more things about the US justice system recently i'm pretty frustrated. rather than post a long rant ill just ask one question.

    Why does the US justice system revolve more around money than it does around justice?

    Think about it... you just answered your own question.

    The super wealthy commit crimes everyday (and ones that affect MILLIONS of people), but yet they always seem to get away with it.

    It's called the just-us (as in them) system for a reason.

    Why do we lock up people at a higher rate than countries we label as tyrannical? And why are we a lot less safer than many countries with much lower incarceration policies?

    It seems an easy answer here too.

    I would also like to add, fuck the police.
