but it would be a lot more beautiful without people in it. i realized that last night. does anyone else feel this way? people are so creative, and can be helpful towards the environment and do good things, but at the same time, there are more people fucking shit up. fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuckkkk
Very true! So much harm has been done to the world, it would be amazing to see how it was before we all turned up!
People add conflict, variety, serendipity and an extreme degree of complexity to the world (which was already nearly unfathomably complex to begin with). I get what you're saying, but wouldn't say it myself.
Yeah, it might be but who would be here to experience it and document that its indeed more beautiful? la de dah la la de dahhhhh
If beauty is real at all, then something should be beautiful regardless of whether there is anything there to appreciate it. Would a beautiful piece of art suddenly cease to be beautiful if one day all beings capable of comprehending beauty were to disappear? Was it never beautiful in the first place? Perhaps beauty is more akin to an emotion than a trait that manifests itself in certain objects.
i get what your sayin...i think it's most of our technology that we have that enables us to "fuck shit up" so to speak. i mean humans can't move a mountain or forest with bare hands. so in a way were so smart were destroying the earth? which makes us dumb?...ahhhh!!!!!!
If every species except humans disappeared from the earth, Humans would live about 50 years maybe. But if only humans just disappeared, The planet would thrive with life forever.
If none of us were here, then who would be here to admire its beauty? I think life itself is the most beautiful thing on this planet, and that includes us. It's miraculous how we are all here functioning in societies and ecosystems, actually it's mind-blowing. Humans are the only ones on this planet that have the capacity to reason situations, "the sole judge in constant error thrown". We are the only ones subjectively experiencing this reality who have the ability to question. Also our human accomplishments in my mind are far more beautiful and intricate than any of nature's doing, though they lack mystery. Tell me that a complex mechanical machine that flies across oceans is not beautiful in its complexity and ingenuity, just try lol. We do have problems that we need to address right away, I agree, but to say the world would be more beautiful without us is far from the truth.
I think we humans are still in a dark age. Emerging, but still in one. This is redundant, but I strongly believe the root cause of most of suckiness of humans comes from the monetary system, which holds business, countries, companies, the nature bred by money, etc. I think it's an enormous thing people can't seem to grasp because the concept is so large; a religion so big people don't care to doubt. I think once humans are intelligent enough to surpass a need for monetary systems, humans will not only live along-side nature, but protect it. So i agree with the op that it'd be much more beautiful without people, but thats because i wanna cut out the stupid people, but then again i discovered this consciousness from other people. people are learning catalysts. we just gotta stay on a direction of learning that is ethical, harmonic, and right, continually trying to grasp what we want cuz eventually the things we want will slowly come upon us. then theres people that don't believe in the concepts of utopias, but i see them just as slightly brainwashed people, with psychoses. it'd only be natural though to have such psychoses in a system half-dwelling on lies and corruption. Besides the monetary system, the world is a very beautiful place. Sorry for the rant. this is how i feel. we humans can do much better.
agreed, and we should be grateful we have the opportunity and ability to even ponder a question like this
your circulatory system is far more complex and ingenious than any mechanical flying machine just sayin
No, I didn't really. This planet will die eventually, with or without humans, so what difference does it make?
