What I notion at does not involve any 'hell' concept. It only involves the will and awareness of the individual. Someone more adept at navigating the bardos will end up in a better place. I want to note again that this is NOT a reward or punishment from a deity, there is no 'deserving' or 'getting what they deserve' or 'retribution for sin of lack of commitment', none of that. It is only a matter of how adept one has become at being able to navigate the experience of death and will themselves into a better place.

By this context you could say people who live nice lives with little struggle are more adept souls than those that can't even live past 5 because of starvation. Who knows is children incarnated into incredibly struggle where even human souls before? Maybe this is there first run at being human after being an antelope in their last life.

I don't put this thought out there as a declaration of what is true (even thought I type it like that), I put this out there because I am curious to know how people respond to such concepts.

The thought that the world is at all times in perfect balance did not come to me until my 20's... after a long struggle of conditioning everything in my childhood out of myself.

If your not willing to display your thoughts to the whole world, for anyone and everyone to scrutinize you and to refine you then you really shouldn't be thinking whatever your thinking in your head. I would urge you to forego the intuition that there is anything valuable in your head until your willing to display it to the world freely.

The world is perfect, if you choose to view it that way. The word perfect, like many things, is very subjective. What I may prefer, you may not. While there are some things that are largely agreed upon by man, the existence of a perfect world is only possible if you change your own view of the world to fit reality.

The world can only be perfect when people are perfect. And since humanity is, by its nature, imperfect, there will always be social issues.

What if humanity actually is perfect and the apparent 'imperfections' are only appearing as such because you don't have a high enough vantage point to see what such things are actually balancing out in order to maintain a true perfect balance.

"Pefect", "balance" and "order" are all subjective, but in my mind anyone with any sound sense of morality would not believe torture, murder, mass starvation and so on to be "balanced", "ordered" or "perfect". "Divine", if taken to mean supernatural, is meaningless to me. Therefore I see the entire statement as laughable and completely out of touch with reality.

"Karma" is a notion dreamt up no doubt to allow people a sense of closure and justice when there clearly is no guarantee of either in bad situations. They didn't think it through as far as the little starving kids, unless they're total nutjobs. It is of course a lot easier to believe n this kind of stuff if you live a very sheltered existence, because then your world is perfectly ordered. Zooming out is essential to understanding.

    Chaos frightens people.

Divine and balanced, only if God's a **** and by balance you mean crazy.

Any sort of order and peace has to be made by us, in a constant battle against chaos and conflict.

    Baby.

You just have to make do and try to improve things for yourself and those around you. No divinity is gonna help us out, never has, never will.

"Why is there suffering? To thicken the plot" - Sri Ramakrishna

(also note that the Hindus believe there is nothing outside of god and he is essentially playing all things himself)

    Karma is not "cause/effect."
