the fault's 20 minutes from my house so even though it was a small one it sounded like the world was going to end. I hate earthquakes!
I have been woken up by earthquakes before... at least they hit you by surprise and go away. hurricanes are a much huger ordeal.. i was stuck at home for 3 days when the hurricanes hit last year... and it really sucked!
oh that does suck. I just think I'm going to die everytime there's one I just remember how scary the northridge one was.
I was in Florida last summer on the West Coast, in Sarasota and experienced all four of the hurricans to an extent Kind of nerve wracking, but exciting at the same time. Earthquakes I couldn't deal with though. Where I live now, its pretty much impossible to feel an earthquake, there really are no faults for hundreds and hundreds of miles. However, you can freeze to death in a blizzard Just goes to show, mother nature will have her way with you no matter where you find yourself in this world.
that is so true!! tornado valley, the northwest has earthquakes, bad storms in the midwest and west coast. no getting around mother nature and all of her anger
i prefer tornadoes to earthquakes. i love watching those shows where the tards drive right up close to the twisters and then realise last minute that maybe it was a bad idea and run away so all their fat giggles hahah im high on energy drink
