Thin girls need not apply.

    So I've noticed something odd...

It seems like there is a new trend that aims to demonize thin people.

Facebook groups such as: "Curvy girls are hotter than skinny girls" and the "Say No to Size Zero" campaign serve as examples of this disturbing movement.

How do you guys feel about this?

Fat people trying to feel better about themselves?
A genuine step away from our thin-worshiping society?

Insecure girls trying to make other girls feel bad about themselves

Women need to learn to focus on health rather than focusing on a certain look.

That's how I feel about it. I don't see size. Only beauty.

I dont think they are trying to make thin girls feel bad I think they have finally found away to embrace the skin they're in. Big girls have been the bud of all jokes for yrs. And lets be honest here being skinny will never be a turn off

I have to admit, I do like the sudden huge embrace of "curves", but I don't like that girls who are a bit on the thick side feel they need to tear down skinnier girls. Sometimes you just cannot help the size you are. I'll never be a zero (though I am still wearing single digits, I'm definitely "up there") and I've accepted that. But I know that most girls who can fit into a zero aren't that skinny because they want to be, that's just how they were built. I love the size I am, but I never look down on someone else for the size they are, be it bigger or smaller than myself.

Just checking out Marlyn ; by today's standards she would be the despised "anorexic bitch". I'm not apologetic at all , I love lean women. That's right I said it!!!!!! LOL

I cannot stand women who adopt the mentality that "big is beautiful" to justify their laziness and poor habits. I am sorry, but it's not beautiful at all. Not that there is anything wrong with a few extra pounds, but there is nothing even remotely attractive about obesity. And I see women all the time who are obese, who have beautiful faces, who would be stunning if they just took control of their health. It's a shame, really. You never see men doing this to justify being fat slobs.

Do you really want to look like a barn and silo in public? When not in public ; how do the parts fit? Some of these people are so enlarged ; how could they ever safely make love? I mean really.

Lmao. Why you two so mad?

Who cares, you don't have to live in their bodies. Just do you, and let it be.

HUH? MarIlyn was the opposite of anorexic! She was not obese by any means, but she was also not the pencil-thin model size that many of us were taught by society to emmulate.

LOL! My heavier lady friends were the ones that ALWAYS had boyfriends, and from what all I could gather - from both them and the b/fs...there was no problem with them "making love". Also usually they would have a real skinny b/f...and he could just slide on up close. ;)
