things were moving too fast. creative thinking and problem solving were catching on like wildfire. The people became aware of their hearts once again. We had to stop it. The cold war had ended less than a decade ago and already the prisons of our minds had a collective of underground tunnels leading to freedom. It had happened sooner than expected, we were losing power and we needed a new innovative method of control. Then we found it. Terror, the perfect solution. The faceless, nameless rogue enemy, where everyone is suspect.Once again, the box has been rebuilt.

 

Wow, thats pretty deep... Now thats somthing to think about.

In a system, like ours, where the people actualy have the power, an effective way to get power is to encourage mob thinking and control the mob.

Yes, the people of the US do actualy have control of the government. Our votes are counted and those votes determine who our government is.

This is a good system for corporations to take power. They have experience using advertising to control our actions. Whether it is buying stuff or voting for folks the corps have the a lot of experience convincing us to do what they want us to.

The war on drugs, crime and terrorism all depend on our fear and the perception that they (whoever they are) will save us from what we have been taught to fear.

Opps, I forgot to mention that the cure is not a structural one but personal. Except for direct personal experience, it is important to not fear. Do not fear the Republicans, the police, the Democrats, corporations, terrorists or any other collective abstraction. Being aware and opposing is different from fearing. Use your fight or flight responce (aka fear) only in those situations where fighting or fleeing would work. When buying, selling or voting, neither fighting nor fleeing works.

 

can we put it on a billboard or a put it in with all the other commercials to reach out to people? kind of related concept... the american civil liberties union website as some intersting thigns on current situations with the "patriot act." i found it when i was looking up some stuff for my dad.

The fashion amoungst Right wing Parties in the Wetern world these days is that a good bit of Fear never does any harm for the economy.

Whip up a good bit of fear and the public rush out and stock up. And when ever joe public is buying things they don't need, its good for the economy.

Have a good fear mongering session a couple of times a year and it keeps you're ecconomy ticking over.

Like some secret group invented terrorism to keep us in the box? Come on, people...we don't need some secret group doing it, we do it too well for ourselves. Everyone lives in their own box, building their walls alongside everyone else. No one person or group is perpetuating it, everyone is. THAT is why we have terrorism. People are afraid, think themselves weak and subjugated, and fight back. It ranges from verbal backstabbing at the office and small personal hatreds to international war and global terrorism. Fear, ego-fear, rules the world, but it isn't some orchestrated conspiracy. Sure, some take advantage of it and do nothing to stop it, and may make it worse in some cases, but this is nothing new; it has been going on for millenia. That's where the mystics and spiritually enlightened come in...but even their message gets institutionalized and ruined, turned into messages of fear and hatred by the very negetive energies they seek to amend.

it's no secret group. it's right before us and in front of us and we as a nation don't even see it because it is presented to us so slickly that people only see the surface of the issues and not how they became or why they are presented.
A few secons of propaganda can create an imense effect on the evening news for people all over the nation. If thats all you see thats all you know. If thats all you care to see then thats all you know. If thats all you know then you are blind. They want to keep us in the "box" so we do not progress and create caos for their coporate world they have spent hundreds of years to create. But change is needed. The box worked when it was needed but it is nolonger needed for the change that the world needs to progress.

Oh yes..it is orchestrated. In your everyday life. In your town. In your school systems. In your local governement all the way up to the U.S. government and even farther out into the world...Everyone lives in their own box and is responsable for their own actions within that box and that means knowing what to do withing your box so the box next to you can also do the right thing..w.hich is think for yourself and ripple out progressive behavior. Not to contribute as much as possible to the larger "box" because you are not powerful if you give your personal power to the wrong powers.

Not if you really want it to come into play. Even so these kind of people who are truely this are a rare breed and they cannot alone solve the worlds problems. BUT with otehrs with a similar need for peace and will to strive for goodness and whats right we can unite.It is only ruined when you manifest ruin.

this is manifested in the thought that even the good ones in the world will not make a difference. You have to believe in something fully to make a change andyou have to not only believe but you have to create change within yourself..your foundation of thinking and all that you know to find what is true and what matters and what is right. All that you are is a tool and a pawn until you begin to create for yourself and think for yourself what you wnat to be. Manifest your destiny. Manifest what you believe. Manifest difference.

 

you could put it on a commercial but most likely for some reason your message will be inadvertantly overlooked or shut off..and oops nobody heard you. You know why? Because those same corporations that own most business and tv stations are all interlinked and heaven forbid someone tell all their secrets on their stations because they would loose some money if people knew what they were really all about. That's why there is rarely progressive stuff on tv. Because most of tv is the same crap regergitated to us from stations that don't care about the people it is all about control of masses and money and we are pawns that make the game go. But there are ways to get your message out. Voice.

 

It's all connected. We are not seperate from any of these things. In fact daily we help it all work without even knowing.
