I just saw this commercial for the first time, and had no idea it was 3 years old until i just youtubed it.

pardon me i believe i have that same vacuum and it works well, objects are sucked into it all the time. i think they are saying that black people clean too much so they're not bad parents but should start adopting :biker:

a hamster wouldnt die being sucked into on of them anyways.. there would need be a motor/ grinder to kill it. Otherwise it would just get sucked into to the bag and live just fine. like a stink bug with a canister vacuum, they can walk right back out if it cause there is nothing to stop them.. Vacuum bags are porous, to allow air to flow..

now was this a vacuum with a beater bar, hamster is good as dead..

and as for the why are they black? I think it's because in the other commercials, the people are white.

I like to spot diversity in commercials and ads sometimes.
I like how some advertisers use many different races and sexes.
Though number of times I spot racism or jokes , maybe unintended.. maybe not.

I can think of a couple ads where there is the white guy, all the sudden comes up on a few black friends in the park. now if we were to think some crazy inner city shit . I would assume hes meeting up with them for drugs. not to discuss the delicate taste of a hamburger. :afro:

 

I love the commercials where it's blatantly obvious that they're trying to not look racist (I think that's what they're trying to do?).
There will be one white guy, one black guy, and one asian or latino, usually not both.
I don't think I've ever seen a Neapolitan trio like that just hanging out irl.
But to be fair, I think there's only 5 black people within 40 miles of me. I hear they're ascared of the snow

i think thats a good psa. parents arent perfect, and you dont have do be perfect to foster kids. i intend to adopt one day, because kids need parents, even imperfect ones, who accidentally vacuum up a pet, or shrink your favorite sweater or something.
and i think adopting kids of similar hues to the parents is acceptable, because there is a concern that kids make them feel different for being adopted, and as a parent i think thats being realistic. today i think youd get made fun of less for being adopted, but i could see concealing that fact to make life simpler for everyone.

 

my roomy got kick out his house cause the person that was bordering him picked up a foster child.. The then foster child stole her credit cards and car. Took off with some pedophile she meet on the internet..

ANYWAYS, TO ORISON.. wE USED TO MAKE Fun of the way they would use the whole diversity thing in textbooks that i used in the early nineties. they were from the 80s and i think even the 70s. Dayton was poor, so I think I used the same textbooks you did!!

how much money did the family get for taking you. I know this lady my roomy was living with was getting $700.00 and stamps.. this is kinda a crazy flip to her greed I guess. cause my roomy is the best tenant there is. he cuts the grass, takes out the trash more than i do.. he actually lives outside the house lol, lets the neighbors see him out front.. I dont go out front often cause theres crazy people sometimes that just annoy me. and steal my car batteries.. ;p

 

My foster parents never disclosed any kind of money amount to me, even though I was consistensty prying.

 

My roomy has a 15\16yr old daughter she was hanging out with this foster kid. she didnt seem to bad. but she didnt want to stay there.. I know the lady is a coot. my roomy put up with her mood swings like he was in a prison attic room, this foster kid probably got the same treatment. . if you get what im saying..
