Do you know of a company that makes vegetarian venison? Because I tried it once when I was young and liked it (before I found out it was deer. Then I wanted to cry. I love deer- and not with maranara sauce!) and wanted to try an see if some vegetarian company made a copy. While we're at it, any company that makes vegetarian lamb as well?

thats a different request...but im sure if you called up a manufacture-like boca burger or morningstar-they'd know if they made it & could probably order it for you...

You could get the unseasoned beef-style soy strips or seitan, and season them as you would a venison or lamb dish.
The only company that I am aware of that makes veggie lamb is YTS Group. out of California. I can't review it for you, because I just read about it in Herbivore magazine. You might want to do a Google search on it.
www.vegieworld.com sells the most unusual faux meats, including pheasant, duck, mutton, squid, and eel.
