This is what Rudenoodle thinks Hippy Nature is. Anyone care to discuss it with him?

WOW , brother rudenoondle just seems to be hurting inside , it must be so horrible to have all those negative feelings , and to see things thru such a pessamistic viewpoint.
I sure hope he finds some peace.

No ,I didnt mean Ill....I just mean that , it seems like hes so negative , like all he sees is the bad side of things and not the good , thats all.
Im not putting him down at all , I enjoy reading how he sees things , it just makes me wonder if he ever sees the good side of life ?

For instance , in all those posts is there one happy one...one that says anything up beat ?

 

I think his point was to trounce on the topic. In other parts of his life, I'm sure he is quite well adjusted.

 

I wish I could believe a world view that were even half as diluted and by- gone as some of you aging ex hippies do.

I think that's a pretty accurate portrayal of the "hippie" ideology.

But man, it sure does sell T-shirts.

Hippie "nature" is to politics what the supernatural is to philosophy.

It's just an easy answer that sounds nice and keeps people from thinking.

Please, don't get me wrong I'm willing to dicuss it with you, No problem. I just didn't want the other thread hijacked off subject. Which is what was starting to happen.

Yes , I just took a step back , and I feel bad now , I think I have sounded WAY judgemental of Brother rudenoodle , and to him I am VERY sorry.
I dont have any right to judge you or anyone , and I was getting kinda close to doing that.

There are none so blind as those who refuse to see.

 

I don't claim to have one, unlike you who endlessly chants about some kind of miraculous peaceful ideology and then condemns military involvement in foreign nations who harbor criminals (and run by) wanted for crimes against humanity.

I'd like to see you go to a country under a brutal regime and see how quickly they take you as a political prisoner.

How many more be headings do you have to watch before you realize the world doesn't always respond to reason?

 

It's easy to ridicule what others suggest when you don't have a suggestion of your own.
