Have you ever had a dream about a person you've never seen before in your waking life, but during your dream, that person feels so real? Last night, I had a dream of this guy. Usually when you have dreams of people you don't know, you can't see what they look like. Their face is a blur or something else is distorted. Well, in my dream, I could see exactly what he looked like, and he's someone I don't know in my waking life. Anyway, in the dream, we seemed to be good friends. We just seemed to be very, very close. Then I wake up and feel so sad because I can't get back into my dream . Has that ever happened to anyone else? It has happened to me different times with different people who I feel like I really know, but there nobody in my life right now. I feel like I am missing people I don't know, and it's a really strange, unsettling feeling.
Hi lunarflowermaiden, I think your dream just wants to remind you that you are not alone even if you feel so. Sometimes we look so hard outside ourselfes to find the others. Where are they ? Look from the heart ... we are all so close by and so many ... closer than you ever would think. It seems in dream you know better. Just try and act as if those you are missing are close by anyway. Be aware that you are the unknown yourself, and it imay be missing parts of your own self that call to you, through all the others around. Again, look from the heart. I hope this helps.
Yeah, I know what you mean. You just get reminded of that person in day life. In my dreams/mind it's not a specific person reoccuring though.. It remains kind of vague, but that could also be because I rarely remember more then one or two fragments of my dream. Haha, sometimes you seem like the female me..
Thank you, Moving, your thoughts were helpful . Asmo, I'm glad at least someone can relate. I've noticed we do share a lot of certain similarities, especially ones I wouldn't imagine other people sharing besides myself. It's odd how that is, huh?
This is just my second post and my first was about this dream that I had last night with this guy that does not exist my waking life. Today I'm mourning him because I know that I won't see him again. I've had dreams with people I don't know before where there is a bond. However, I've never been as affected as I was with my last dream. Like you said "this saddens me" aswell.
lfm, Don't be surprised if you meet that person in real life. Just keep your eyes open. Unless it is an 'archtype' of personnage, it may portend a destined meeting. (Archtypes are perople who represent other people. For example, whenever I fought with my brother in a dream I knew that I would soon be fighting with my boss in real life. When I dream of my ex-wife I know that I will soon meet a woman who is marriage material. When I dream of an ex-lover I know that I will soon meet a very passionate person. It comes down to personalities, that if you dream of a friend then you will likely meet someone who reminds you of that friend.) Since you cannot see his face, you won't be able to recognise him in real life. Look for waking dream signs to guide you. It could be that everytime you see a certain word or an animal or a thing that it will signal that some event is about to take place.
iv had the same type of thing... like in the dream theres a girl and we're in love and its like the most perfect form of love iv ever felt...then u wake up and its sorta dissapointing x
It could also be of people you knew in past lifetimes (if you believe that stuff). Dreams that make me sad like that are usually about this guy I used to know, that I'll probably never see or hear from again. He said he would call, but he hasn't to my knowlege, but one phone was lost, and the other has no voicemail. We had a bit of an argument not long before we were parted. He said it was all right, but it still feels unresolved to me. Dreams of seeing him again always make me sad.
