"2C-I is contraindicated in people with certain thyroid conditions, particularly Grave's disease; its structural similarity to the thyroid hormone thyroxine might cause it to concentrate in the thyroid or affect it. From anecdotes, it would seem that 2C-I has the potential to affect thyroid function in healthy individuals as well."

I just found this while browsing wikipedia, and I thought it was pretty interesting, however there is no source to prove this statement.
Does anyone know of a study proving the above?

We don't know anything for sure, but I believe I read some chemist BLers making an educated guess that it would be almost impossible to become a free radical and become dangerous to the Thyroid. That, and I've never seen anything to back that up, and I'll leave you with a Michael Scott quote.
