i recently read a post about doing tie dye with markers, and i have a question. How are you supposed to wash the shirt, and how do you keep the marker from running? Would putting it in the dryer first set the marker? I need help! I don't want my creation to fade away.

I would suggest setting the dye with vinegar before washing, that should take care of it, but maybe wash it alone for the first couple washes, just in case.

no, washable markers wouldn't work. I suggest sharpies, they're permanent, and come in some awsome colors.
