It looks like the computer mouse will soon be obsolete. Time to get with the new technology for controlling your computers and other devices. Leap Motion has developed a new device and software that will allow you to control your computer with gesture control, much like Wii and Xbox do. However this technology is far more precise than any game box can deliver. See the video to get an idea of what is coming soon. You can even order one of these in advance for $70. Not me. I'd end up paying more for the hard to find mice. =P I've always found that it's much easier to control things via mouse and keyboard; and I've always wondered why they are always trying to improve on perfection. (And to the contrary, at the same time, why QWERTY is still standard..)
I'm just starting to get used to using a computer and a mouse. Now I will have to start all over and figure that thing out, I'm with Tyrson at the back of the line on the Leap thing. Maybe when this mouse breaks.
There is already technology that involves just looking at the screen and the mouse follows your retinas. 0.0
and a blink equals a click. they've had this since the nineties i think. This isn't crazy accurate 3d mapping though.
Looks cool. Reminds me o the Computers on Minority Report. Seems like your arms would get tired though, for those that spend a lot of time at the computer.
just like when you used to need a hammer to make a hammer.. now there are plenty of ways to make a hammer without a hammer
How do you know my password to everything and why are you posting it for everyone to see on the interwebz?!!??!?!?!?!?!?? AHAHAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
Regardless Of Modern Technological Developments, There Will Always Be A Mouse Or Two In This House, Thank's To My Three, Fat, Lazy, Cats.... Cheers Glen.
