TO EVERYONE thinking pot is just a high

its not. and yes you can trip on weed, it may not be like other stronger drugs, but I personally have seen things, heard things, and travelled in a worm hole with audio, visual and emotional hallucinations while very very high.

this maybe because i ALWAYS have very low tollerance, but how high is not the factor. weed can make you trip.

and yes this is a blow to the other people who say weed brings on just a high, and you cant trip on it.

i realised alot, and had fun times < but tripped on it i have also. tis why i dont talk shit when other people post theyre ''trip'' reports.

i agree. ive had closed eye visuals with audio for a few seconds. It was enjoyable.

 

I've never tripped on pot (not yet), but I've only smoked high mids (nothing danker). I do believe you when you say you can, though.

 

I have had some pretty heavy highs though.

 

my thread the ideal high one i talked about how i tripped on weed an other friends did too, i was at a friends house in a trailor park and like you i had low tolerance and this dude was wanthing to smoke a jay cause he just new shit and wanted to test it wtith us, so free joint hell yeah, but we smoked it and the world froze like a picture starting to bend in toward me and then popped like a bubble and i could only see black for a few seconds.

my friend saw little picture boxes turning corner by corner until it busted. marijuana i think can be a hallucinogen, not like as string as lsd but it can make you see shit.

 

you kids ever heard of this great thing called PCP? mmm mm mm goes great with weed.


but yes, occasionally weed can have a certain trip factor to it.

hmmm ive always wanted to trip on weed and have tried to trick myself into thinking im tripping on weed but at the end of the day i never have. ive had cev's and maybe like very light shroomy visuals and have even had some great emotional connection with people but nothing i would call a trip. i consider u lucky if u can trip on weed, i wish i could, but alas i have/can not. for me weed is just a high, but it is also so much more but sadly not a trip.

 

Ive watched my friend turn into a small cartoon, strange blobs crawl towards me, saw crazy pillars of multi-colored lights, strange shifting shapes in the sky, voices coming out of my bathroom vent, heard a dog luagh, and the list goes on, all on marijuana.

I've tripped on some good hydro. had music playing real loud in my head, spinning around. was pretty sweet.

 

i still gotta say that you shouldnt describe a weed experience as "tripping." for all of you who do say that you´ve tripped from weed, have you tripped from anything else (mushrooms, LSD, etc)?

the shit that´s happened to me while tripping doesnt even come close to what i´ve experienced from smoking weed. i´ve had a lot of similar experiences to what a lot of you said about weed, but they´re still not like ACTUALLY tripping.

for me, the word "tripping" evokes a lot of specific things from real experiences - none of which come from weed. there are times when i´ve vaporized too much and felt pretty close to what it feels like to be tripping, but I know that they´re two completely different worlds.

 

proper triping is quite different from the kind of trips you can get on weed. but people get visuals and I've gotten audio, so even if it's not as powerful as acid or shrooms, people are still trippin'

I agree you can have some vivid hallucinations, I have seen the walls covered with pronounced geometric shapes from just weed, while walking around too. I agree you can have some very pronounced audio hallucinations, I have had extended conversations with 'things' when really high and meditating. I agree weed can even to a degree get you to other 'places', I have a headspace I've developed from meditation and marijuana which is sort of like being inside a faberge egg and it is very different, very surreal, and typically out of body.

But if you think that is 'tripping', your still in for quite a surprise. There is FAR more out there than just visual/auditorial "hallucinations" and subtle out of body experiences. I don't feel like I've approached 'trip' until the "hallucinations" are no longer what you would call "hallucinations". To me the original context of the word 'trip' is meant to only be used when you very literally go on a trip somewhere else not in this dimension. I don't think 'weed trippers' realize how high it is possible for the human brain to actually get. You can get really far out there.

 

ive had similar trips with both weed and shrooms, out of body experiances and wotnot.
i have also experianced mild halucinations with mdma and at the piont of sexual climax, so i only use the word "trip" in the lightest, open sense of the word.
but if i think too deeply my vivid imagination has taken me places i cannot explain, spiritually and visually but i thinkk i am vry suceptable to thing like that....witch is why i wont touch lsd.
