let the ides flow!! i usually have no problems writing stories n such but as soon as it was set for english homework ive just had writers block. dunno why. yeah anyway short as story 1000 words. about ANYTHING. Anyone have ideas on what it should be about, setting, characters, scenes that should happen n such. ill be forever grateful thanks all n peace*
Write a really hip story about traveling cross country. Maybe hitchhiking, or train hopping ... Talk about all the interesting people you meet, all the places you visit. You can have alot of fun with that.
write about some dude doing so many drugs that he turns back into his primitive self where he only has to worry about surviving, and only has his own self to deal with, but then he takes too much drugs again and is nothing . merely a simple matter in the construction of the absolute. now thats my cup o tea

Speaking of rolling stone ... Did you see the ad that was in there for the HBO series "weeds"? It had the tab you pull over, like to smell perfume ... But it smelled like weed! It was awesome!

Hmmm. Bouncing off the end of the world idea: Talk about a characters reaction to what is going on the world, how they feel about being affected by the airlines (like they are waiting in line to board a plane or something) and have a delicious twist at the end. Have them tell their story as they are dying or as the world ends - or make it a dream. Something that hits you completely out of left field and makes the reader wonder: "what the f*ck just happened there?" Those are my favorite stories.

i wrote a story about two hippies goin on a road trip across the country and while they were driving a earthquake swallowed the car up and they had to survive in underground caverns and come to grips with their friendship, i had it end with them getting out of the caverns and walking off into the sunset singing "With Alil Help From My Friends"
sadly my teacher only gave me a 70 on it, but it had to do with the fact that i was an asshole in her class and corrected every mistake she made "which was alot" and openly make jokes about her, but she asked for it she was a bitch from day one. the only days i wasnt harrassing her were the days when i was baked for class
thanks for all ya ides guys. its really hard to keep it 1000 words though. thats only 2 pages.. i start writing and cant restrict myself. and then i look and have roughly 6 times that. ohwell. i reckon they are all totally wild and ill incorporate all of it perhaps.. im thinking of including a magic bike and when you ride it you go to different universes or soemtihng.. thanks again peace
Indian chaste system. Brahmins are the priest class, and the families of the 4 castes hardly ever intermaried. The priests and politicians which were the higher schemes of vedic society would occasionally. So would the laborers and farmers, the lower 2 chastes. But there was never any inter mingiling between the higher and lower classes, as all marriages were arranged. Untouchables were people who lived outside the chaste system, leather workers, assasins, people who weren't often allowed to live in villegas in Indian Hindu societies. A young Brahmin priestess whos destined to marry a man she doesn't love has a chance encounter with an untouchable. Their love is almost destined to fail. Sounds like a good story.
Female priestess are really common in India, and have been through it's history. I don't know if they married often or not, but I'm pretty sure they did. They also had tons of relationships with other members of the Brahmins class in some cases. And they worshiped giant stone penises. She can probably leave that last part out of her story though.
