I am not really on an anti smoking campaign, just curious of the people who smoke vs. those who do not. Those who have quit. Since my first reply was about drugs I guess I have lost more friends to drug overdoses than to lung cancer. It was a touching video and made me think, but I am a smoker and yet do not do drugs. I find it weird that so many will go crazy over cigarettes or tobacco and yet OK with illicit drug usage. you cant eat tobacco as you can eat cannabis.. I guess you can eat tobacco but it has no real benefits.. no not private..., just wanted you to check it out cause I saw your thread..

A negative needs a positive to counterbalance it in order to result in a positive. I try not to add to the negative energies of the world when I think to avoid it, you can do good things without being bad. I will maybe show her it with a disclaimer.. But either way, psychological study has shown that positive reinforcement is a far better way of learning than punishment.

awww that's really sad I am not quit a "smoker" but i do smoke when i drink and when i get high sometimes i just want the after cig. But my goal is to quit for good.
I seen cancer eat my dad up, Im still a smoker, but whether or not I quit, which I have successfully a few time just not forever. Seems that cancer will be my fate aswell.. Not only have I consumed carcinogens. I couldnt tell you how many others Ive been exposed to through occupational accord ..
What kind of jobs have you done orison? It doesn't really matter at this point you either get cancer or you don't.
Thats a really touching video, my mum had cancer but it wasnt through smoking and shes got the all clear but she wont ever fully recover. It doesnt hinder her much though, she had her check up today at the hospital and she wont need to go in for another 6 months Ive always had some personal agenda with smoking baccy, dont know why, just always hated it. Although the odd time I smoke joints but not usually. That was very brave of him and his mum, theres some raw personal emotions in that which you dont usually get from campaigns like that. Even if that video has helped just one person then its made a huge difference.
I can't stand the awful taste cigarettes leave and how they make your hands and lcothes smell like shit. Marijuana on the other hand helps me to eat when I wake up in the morning with Acid reflux and feel like I have to puke. I truly believe alcohol and tobacco made our country what it is today. Now we have people who feel the need to talk/text on their cellphones while driving. Me and 3 other friends were in a car when the driver decided to text while driving, we watched him drift until he was about to take us over the side of a cliff. He replied "I got it man, don't worry"
What does that have to do with cigs or alcohol? If somebody is that stupid then the cigs/alcohol won't change that.
