So I am standing there talking to my mom and my dad walks in the room and he stares at my feet. "Brandon, do you have a ring on your toe[IMG]??".......i should have said no, but i am lacking my smartassness today...."yes".......then he looks disgusted and says GOOD GRIEF!! and walks away lol.......It is funny cause this is new to him even though i have been wearing one every day for the past month and a half....not very observant.......peace.

    Hey Brandon,

Toe rings are kewl, on guys and gals. I wear a couple that I never take off. I love goin barefoot to the grocery store, fast food places, and everywhere else, too, showing em off. Sometimes people will compliment me on em. I hardly ever see other guys with toe rings. In the last 2 years I've probably seen 3 guys with toe rings.

Life is short, ya gotta do what you like. I like wearin em, so I do. I'm glad there are at least a few other guys who wear em also.

    Keep barefootin'

I also love wearing a toe ring, it's really cool looking. Mine is a plain silver band that I wear on my left middle toe. Hey guys, if you have one, wear it!

Yeah definately......It really felt kinda good, because all i said was "yes" and that was it.....I am so confident in myself now that I have no explanations to give to my father...I just do it and if he thinks its funny or stupid or evil or whatever it doesnt matter i dont hide it....I figure, hey respect me or dont, i am who i am.

i wear my toe rings all the time, but this time of year no one gets to see them except my wife (she thinks they're cool) because of the rotten weather. i've been wearing them for years and no one has ever said anything, gotten a few stares but who cares, keep wearing them, more and more guys are wearing them, it's really no big deal, kind of like wearing an earing, no one really notices.

I'm actually curious to know how my son will feel when he grows up and is old enough to care about things like this, about the fact that his dad wears them all the time! LOL Will he think I'm cool and unique, or will he shake his head and wonder what kind of weirdo his father really is?

And hey, you did that perfectly. If your dad doesn't get it, that's his problem not yours. We can only ever be who we are. Be proud of that.

hey we are who we are, i actually saw a guy wearing a toe ring and he had to be at least 60 or 65 years old, i'm 55 but i think it's cool and it's just me, if people don't like it, it's their problem not mine.

yeah i never cared abotu what other people thought, i was just nervous with my dad, cause he and i never got along and he is one of the few people who can piss me off.........other people i think its fun when they ask me about it.....are you gay? no I am confident lol.....where are your shoes? dont have any......feet are gross...no their not they are just like your hands only on your legs........i feel uncomfortable that your flesh is touching the ground i walk on (said by a lady in my class who just likes to argue with me, we do it for the fun of it lol) well you dont have tyo worry if my flesh touches the ground, cause you wear shoes, so yours doesnt ......haha peace

Try rebutting with " I don't like touching objects that your germ infested have touched." sometime and see what the reaction is.

It's a bit cold and wet for it now, but I barefoot most of the summer when I can. Flip flops at the most.

hey koolhand do you know anything about your family history...one physical charicteristic of native americans is that the toe next to their big toe is longer and sometimes another toe will curl under.

I'd heard that, but there's no Injun' blood in my family. Italian and Swiss actually. People notice my longer toe a lot.
