little black flys im pretty sure that they are gnats. hung up fly paper and there are tns of em on there after a few weeks, anything i should do?
Fungas Gnats! Pesky things. If you let the soil dry thoroughly it should help kill the maggots which live in the soil and nibble on the roots. Sticky yellow traps (the cards) work great too for trying to keep the population down. The ultimate is Gnatrol. It is basically a bacteria which is mixed in with the water to kill the maggots.
Well well well if only I knew that few yrs back still onwards n upward. Dont think u can wipe them out just aim t keep the numbers down.
Yep sure is worse things your bud could catch. Btw I've found hormone rooting powder is quite a safe killer of bugs that live in soil when mixed with water.
