TOOL rocks. Probably my favorite band....each one of their CD's is a true work of art. I would kill to see them live at least once in my life......I only hear good things about their live performances. I am a fan of APC as well....good music to chill too.
Ive seen tool 4 times, and yes, they do put on excellent live shows....... it is so bizarre...... and the music is just great...... man, I need another tool show.
yeah i think so too tool is the shit but apc is ass i have a friend who is always telling me that apc is waay better than tool i dont see how that is what a waste of talent
I can't get into them, I don't even understand what they're doing in the Heavy metal section. However I couldn't say in what section they should be in.
Maynard isn't with APC anymore. APC is done. TooL is working on a new album, which was supposed to be out this year, but obvisouly thats not going to happen. But next year is looking promising.
its hard for me to categorize tool. yes, if you look them up on the net, it will probably say proggressive rock or metal, but they are totally original, or as close as you can get. its wierd, i really dont think maynard is human. the things he can come up with. its insane. but they are really good. you should try them out sometime. ill suggest thier first album, Undertow or AEnima. its good stuff.
not really...... I wouldnt consider them progressive...... they are more art rock like king crimson......
they didnt really get into the art rock sound until "lateralus". pink floyd and king crimson finally crept into their sound.
if you want to talk about progressive metal, talk about bands like dream theatre or queensryche. tool isnt progressive.
