My sister and I went to get our tongues peirced together. about 6 months later she somehow heard about this and took her out as well as urging me to do the same. I thought it was bullshit, and refused. So I still have my tongue ring in today about a year and a 1/2 later and I haven't had any problems what so ever.

    its actually true, somewhat.
i believe that its if you already have heart problems, it can cause more problems.
my boyfriend has heart problems and got his ears pierced over the summer. my mom who is a nurse advised him agaisnt piercing anything else or gettin tattoos due to his heart condition. i think that if it gets infected it can go to your heart and cause problems or something like that.
