I know of a place not very well know in Belmont NY kinda nead the finger lake region and Corning Ny area Called Pollywogg holler it is a hippy hang out any one know of any other HIPPY HANGOUTS worth going to.....

unfortunately I don't know of any here... they seem to be in all the warm areas (southern u.s., australia, etc...) I think canada is too cold for hippies...

well right now i am and have been living at an eco-resort in belmont ny neer the finger lakes.... i like it here but i am a traveler and have a hard time staying in one place so if you all can tell me any places in the world that to compare to this place i am at let me know.... eco lodges comunes or anyothers......

we are down here in north ga ozzy ..... it isnt quite the same as pwh but we are a small 15 acre place that is trying to build a small homestead/farm with travelers help that need a place to crash n eat n maybe earn a few bucks....all while doing it in simple n unique ways...... iffin ya wanna know more gimme a holler

most def i want to know more I been helping this old guy build leen tus here me and 2 guys can put one up in 5 hrs i wolud love to come and help tell me more....

 

We are a coupla folks who are trying to make our property here into a place for folks to come n hang out , getaway from babylon, a place to come and heal, to learn and experience new and different things as well as a place for road folks to come and rest and to make a few bucks in order to go back on the road..

We have about 15 acres of land nestled in the North Ga mountains. Because we are in the mtns most of the land here tends to be rather rugged and at times a bit hard to work with ,, however.. we do get things done .. We are in the middle of building a small log cabin at this point in time. when that is done we will build some sort of other living quarters. We have about 40 chickens, a steer, two goats , two dogs and a few cats around at this point in time,,,we are always looking for new additions to add to our menagerie and therefore living quarters for critters has to grow along with fencing and such.. We have been working on cleaning up tent campsites and campfire pits as well and want to continue doing so,,, a communal type kitchen is going to be in the works as well as a root cellar and brick ovens....Of course with land comes lawns to mow and manicure and gardens to be planted and a greenhouse to get things growing... All of which we plan on expanding in the future when either ppl that have the skills needed come along or when we have folks that want to make money .. our time is limited that we can actually work on said projects since hhb and i still have to participate in babylonious occupations..

We arent looking for someone to work full time since our finances dont allow for it... but what we are looking for is someone to spend a few hours a day to do things that we just aint got time for... pay would depend of course on how much one would like to spend working.. I do most the cooking round the place and cook dinner for all in the evenings and on the weekends i make a couple meals aday...

Generally we hang round , talk, have arts n crafts time ( or um sumthing like that )and discuss issues around meal times until we head to bed... There are plenty of forests, creeks and recreation type things in the general area that can be enjoyed by a person that would like to do such things and of course the natural beauty and aura of the land here allows a person to sort of escape without really going anywhere...

well i will get back to ya soon i will get some pics sent to you of the leen tus we been making here and may be i can come and do something like that..... I am a wine and beer maker.... I do some art work check out my web page work in progress www.genedolan.com..... I have knowlege how to cook with a brick oven.... and i was a web and graphic designer and computer tech..... right now i am only making 100 week pluss food and bed..... I have the ability to make much more but the key to happyness in my book is not in seeking more but having the ability to enjoy less.... I am a wonder in this world who can not learn enouf.... I wolud very much like to plan a visit to see ya and offer at least my friendship
