:hat:Back in the late sixties I saw lots of
girls with these purses where the bottom
was a jug like an old clorox bottles or similiar
and the top was knitted. I finally found a pattern
to make them. Instead of using the nasty smelling
bleach bottles I use the bowls that come with
soup, you know, the instant Asian kinds? I have
also made one with recycled jeans for the bottle
part-the bottom of a jean leg. It is white so you
could doodle on it. I ironed on a couple hippie
symbols. The knitted part is rainbow yarn.
The draw strings have wooden beads, a fimo
bead with a sunshine, and a pink seal.
Wouldn't mind swapping
If you would prefer the soup bowl, or jean
leg with different colored yarn or a chlorox
bottle or whatever let me know!
